Environmental Impact
For many years, we have been committed to environmental responsibility regarding both our operations and products, ensuring that our actions align with industry-leading practices to mitigate the impacts of climate change, promote responsible product lifecycle management and encourage sustainable and ethical sourcing.
By integrating these principles into our strategic planning, we will not only meet but exceed regulatory requirements and contribute to a healthier planet.
Climate Change and Energy Efficiency
We are working to reduce our overall energy consumption and transition to renewable energy sources. In partnership with our suppliers, we will also continue to reduce waste and improve material efficiency.
Reduce greenhouse gas emissions at our sites:
- Reduce natural gas use at all sites.
- Increase use of renewable energy, such as solar panels to power the FCST plant.
- Continue to reduce electricity consumption at all locations through LED lighting and white roofs.
- Confirm actions to reduce the carbon footprint of our offices and factories in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Yichun.
Measure greenhouse gas emissions within a specified range:
- Purchased products and services.
- Upstream transportation and distribution.
- Waste generated during production.
Product Lifecycle Management
Our goal is to use more responsibly sourced, low-impact materials in future product designs through eco-design practices, to minimize waste through reduced packaging use, easily repairable and recyclable products, and to apply the circular economy model (reuse, refurbishment, recycling) to products produced by FCST.
Conduct product life cycle assessments
Work with specialist companies to conduct life cycle assessments on selected existing products and use these assessments to identify new design directives to help development teams create innovative products with minimal environmental impact.
Align our production with our customers’ recycling regulations
FCST will evaluate the end-of-life and recycling programs used by major customers and ensure that future products are designed to comply with the recycling regulations of these programs.
Improve product packaging
Continue to work with suppliers to increase the percentage of reusable/recyclable and biodegradable materials in their packaging.
Procurement Practices and Materials Sourcing
We aim to increase the importance of sustainable and family-friendly goals in our supplier qualification tool, sending a clear signal throughout the supply chain that we value responsible sourcing and manufacturing practices.

Annual CO₂ ReductionFCST vigorously promotes the green and low-carbon transformation of the enterprise, and invests photovoltaic equipment in the factory with an installed capacity of 200kW. A total of 364 solar photovoltaic panels are laid, generating 207,500 kilowatts of electricity per year, and can reduce 216.71 tons of carbon dioxide per year compared with traditional coal-fired thermal power, contributing to the world's early carbon neutrality.
