The FCST080503 Pen-Type Visual Fault Locator (VFL) is a compact, field-ready fiber diagnostic tool engineered for optical network installation, tracing, and maintenance. Emitting a high-visibility 650nm red laser,it allows technicians to visually pinpoint fiber breaks, microbends, tight bends.

  • Precise Optical Fault Identification: Emits a visible 650nm red light to quickly locate breakpoints, microbends, and connector failures through cable jackets.

  • OTDR Dead Zone Companion: Identifies close-range fiber faults and connector issues that fall within OTDR dead zones.

  • Dual Operating Modes: Toggles easily between Continuous Wave (CW) for static tracing and Pulsed mode (2–3Hz) for enhanced fault visibility under daylight conditions.
